Do you perform Baptisms? If so, where do you celebrate them?
Yes. Baptisms are usually celebrated in the home with family and friends present to welcome the child into the Christian Community. This ceremony is formal, spiritual, and joyous. It lasts about a half-hour, and encourages the reverent attention and participation of those present.
Are your Baptisms Catholic?
I use the same elements found in the traditional Catholic Baptisms: I provide the white bib-like garment symbolizing new life, and the Baptismal Candle. There's the anointing with sacred oil, the pouring of the water, prayers and songs. The child's siblings and grandparents are invited to take an active role in the ceremony along with the parents and godparents. A Baptismal Certificate is provided and the Baptism is officially registered.

Do you charge a fee for Baptisms?
The custom after the ceremony is that the child's parents show their appreciation with a monetary gift that is left up to the parent's generosity.
Do you perform funerals?
Currently I am available only for weekend funerals and/or memorial services. Under special circumstances I can arrange to be present for a funeral during the week. These services celebrate the life of the deceased with a message that is positive, hopeful, and rooted in Jesus' resurrection.

Once I retire from my full-time job, I would love to celebrate Eucharist (Mass) with a faith community where all are welcome. Please contact me if you are interested.
